2006: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT, placing 8th (26:02.06) at independent meet... Also finished among Aggie scorers at Aggie Open (13th), Washington Sundodger Invitational (50th) and Willamette Charles Bowles Invitational (26th)... Was the third UC Davis runner to cross at the Pacific Association Championships, finishing 39th overall.

TRACK & FIELD: Finished 10th in 10,000 (32:08.24) at Div. I Independent Championships as a freshman (2007)... Competed in 5,000 three times, hitting season-best 15:11.92 at Cal-Nevada meet.

OAKLAND HS '06: Won Oakland Section cross country titles in each of his junior and senior seasons, helping team to section titles each year... Placed 23rd at CIF state meet as a senior... Qualified for state track championships in 3,200 as a senior, finishing 19th... Won both 800 and 3,200 titles at section meet, and added third-place showing in 1,600... Captured three straight Oakland Athletic League championships in the two-mile... Set school record of 9:25.07 in that event at Piedmont Distance Festival.

PERSONAL: Born in Oakland, Calif.... Majoring in computer engineering... Parents are Joe Dileo and Sally Nguyen... Older sister, Sharine Nguyen, graduated from UC Davis in 2007... Proudest personal accomplishment was setting Oakland HS record in 3,200.
