Also added 25th-place showing at Pacific Association/USATF West Region meet.
2004: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT, finishing 5th (26:05) at the Aggies' inaugural appearance in the meet... Also raced at Willamette Invitational (42nd, 25:09.21), Pacific Association Championships (34th, 33:24) and USATF club nationals (141st, 35:56.39).
2003: Competed in all six meets, finishing among Aggies' top four runners in each... Finished 77th overall, 3rd on team, at USATF Club Championships (33:10.6)... Highest finish was 14th place (26:18.8) at Aggie Open... Was team's No. 2 runner at Arkansas' Chile Pepper Festival, capturing 65th place overall (31:30.01).
UC DAVIS TRACK & FIELD: Enjoyed breakout season as a junior (2006)... Posted team's best times in 1,500 (3:55.62), 3,000 (8:23.35) and 5,000 (14:22.40)... Won 3K at Arizona State with that PR mark, moving into 3rd in Aggie record book... Time is school's best true 3,000, although Ed Haver and Roy Hogland ran faster two-mile equivalents... Ran his 5K season best at Stanford's Distance Carnival, placing 2nd in the meet's fourth section... Cut more than 32 seconds from his previous best, posting school's fastest mark since Mark McManus set the UC Davis record in 1997...
