The women's squad and some of the men's squad travels to Penn State, while other members of the men's squad remain in state

WEST HILLS HS’15/CUYAMACA COLLEGE: Started track and field sophomore and senior year of high school… Originally started his career with pole vault before trying distance events his senior year. Moved on to compete in the 800m, 400m, 600m, 1500m, 1600m, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay during that same year… Set all his PRs during the 2015 outdoor season: 800m (2:02.43), 1600m (4:40.3), and pole vault (11”)… At Cuyamaca College, he ran the 800m and 1500m, before moving on to the 5000m and 3k steeplechase in his second season… Set PRs in all his events during the 2017 outdoor season: 800m (2:03.99) and 1500m (4:08.14) at the 39th Annual Aztec Open and Invitational, 5000m (15:37.89) at the Occidental Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic, and 3k steeplechase (9:47.06) at the CCCAA Southern California Regional Prelims and Championships.

PERSONAL: Born in Bakersfield, Calif… Majoring in English… Says his proudest personal accomplishment is competing for a Division I school in the NCAA… The best athletes he has competed against were any one of his current or former teammates… His sports hero is Louis Zamperini… Says if he could play another sport at UC Davis, it would be ultimate frisbee.
