AS A JUNIOR (2012): Ran in three races...Came in a season-best third at the Aggie Open (4K) with a time of 14:08...Came in 168th overall at the NCAA Pre-Nationals (6K) with a 22:09.6...Was the sixth Aggie across the finish line and 72nd runner overall at the NCAA West Regionals (6K), with a time of 21:17.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011): Became one of UC Davis' top runners during first year of competition with three top-10 finishes throughout the year... Finished tied for fifth at Aggie Open (9/2) with a time of 14:07, just 13 seconds off of first place... Placed sixth overall and third among UC Davis runners at Hornet Jamboree (9/10) with a time of 17:51... Finished tenth overall and third among UC Davis runners at the Big West Championships (10/29), helping lead the Aggies to a conference championship.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Redshirted.

OAKMONT HS '10: Qualified for the state championship meet two straight years... Earned Most Valuable Player recognition from her team three years in a row and was elected team captain as a sophomore, junior and senior... Also competed in track and field and finished fifth at the NCS Masters meet as a senior... Named a National Scholar-Athlete by the US Army Reserve.

PERSONAL: Born in Sacramento, Calif.... Parents are Randy and Louise Lozoya... One of four siblings, including Kevin, Angela and Rene... Was a gymnast for 11 years with Byers Roseville Gymnastics Center and was a Level 10 Regional Championships qualifier... Majoring in exercise biology and would like to pursue a career as a physical therapist.
