2005: Earned ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT honors for second year, leading Aggies with 6th-place finish (25:17.12)... Raced in six meets, scoring points in all five team competitions... Independent finish was third top-10 placing, including Aggie Open (8th) and Santa Clara Invitational (6th)... Was team's No. 2 runner at USATF Club Championships, finishing 79th overall (32:10).

2004: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT... Finished as runner-up (25:44) at the independent championships... Launched season by winning Aggie Open (25:17.9), earning D-I Independent Athlete of the Week honors... Repeated as team's No. 1 runner a week later at Stanford Invitational, finishing 29th overall (24:50)... Followed with 16th at Willamette Invitational (24:42.26), then 14th at Sacramento State Open (16:17.8).

2003: Ran in five meets, including Pacific USATF Championships... Was team's top finisher in open 8K at Stanford, placing 6th overall (26:24)... Among Aggie scorers at Willamette, finishing 36th (25:18.8). 2002: Redshirted.

TRACK & FIELD: Doubled in 5K (9th) and 10K (2nd) at Div. I Independent Championships as a junior in 2006... Qualified for Cal-Nevada State Championships in 5,000, placing 6th with season-best 15:16.37... Lone 2005 appearance was at Aggie Classic, running 5,000 in 15:44.92... Competed in 5K and 10K as a redshirt freshman in 2004... Ran season-best 5K of 14:56.10 at Woody Wilson Invite... Posted 30:40.24 in 10K at Oregon Twilight, narrowly missing school's top-10 list... Voted as team's Most Improved.

ALISAL HS '02: Selected as Outstanding Athlete twice each in cross country and track & field... Won Central Coast Section cross country title as a senior, helping team to second-place finish... Took 7th in Monterey Bay League, 13th in the CCS as a junior.

PERSONAL: Born in San Benito, Texas... Majoring in economics... Parents are Baldomero & Esperanza Murillo... Would like to have every meet be muddy and rainy... Also would do away with morning practices.
