YREKA HS '12: Four-year letterwinner in cross country while earning two varsity letters in track and field... All-Northern Athletic League and Yreka HS Rookie of the Year selection in his very first year of competition... Went on to earn four consecutive All-NAL honors and was twice named NAL Most Valuable Player... Won first NAL individual championship in 2010 before repeating in 2011... Advanced to CIF-Northern Section Cross Country Championships as a junior and senior, finishing third overall in 2010... Placed fifth in 2011 to lead Yreka HS to the team title... Received All-CIF Northern Section accolades in 2010 and 2011 and was an all-state honoree as a senior in 2011... Placed eighth at the CIF Cross Country State Championships to lead Yreka HS to the team title... Won the 800-meter individual title at the Northern Athletic League championships in 2011, then was the 3200 conference champion in 2012... Won the 1600 at the CIF-North Section championships, advancing to the state meet and finished 16th overall... Recipient of the Norm MacKenzie Sportsmanship Award, presented to one senior male athlete at the CIFNS meet... Excelled academically, graduating as the Yreka HS salutatorian and was a CIF-Northern Section/Farmers Scholar-Athlete.

PERSONAL: Parents are Steve and Mary Neill... Has one sibling, Davis... Majoring in civil engineering... Enjoys backpacking and skiing and hopes to someday reach every summit in the Cascade Range... Says not many people know that he owns a huge baseball card collection.
