PERSONAL: Parents are Roberta and Ron Goins... Siblings Austin and Rianna also attend UC Davis and compete for the Aggies... Getting accepted to UC Davis is her greatest personal accomplishment... Not many people know that she tried pretty much every sport imaginable, and was either really horrible, or not talented enough until freshman year of high school when she started running cross country -- everything changed from that point on... Earning a Century League title was one of her two most memorable athletics accomplishments... Holding Canyon's all-time record is the other... Chose to attend UC Davis because she felt like she fit in with the team and loved the college town feel... Her parents are her non-sports hero because of their love and support... Becoming an elementary school teacher is her career aspiration... Would love to visit Paris... Follows two superstitions: every night before a race, she would visit to the same pasta place for dinner and, on race day, she always consumed a yellow energy drink... Her advice to others, "Think about how far you have gotten. Not about how far you still have to go."
