SAN JUAN HILLS HS '12: Three-time All-Sea View League selection and recipient of San Juan Hills' Most Outstanding Runner for three straight years... Earned Rookie of the Year honor as a freshman in 2008... Helped lead team to 2010 CIF-Southern Section championships and captained 2011 squad... Also lettered in track and field, capping off prep career with sixth-place finish in the 4x400 relay at the CIF-Southern Section championships... Named Rookie of the Year in 2009 and was the recipient of the Coaches' Award in 2010... Set school record in 3,200 in 2011... Served as team captain during 2012 season.
