Freshmen Erika Barr and Brandon Pugh discuss the weekend's conference championship meet

SAN JUAN HILLS HS '12: Earned All-CIF first team honors after placing seventh overall at the CIF-Southern Section Div. III Cross Country Championships in 2009... Finished third overall at the 2010 CIF State Cross Country Championships in a time of 15:28, earning all-state accolades in the process... Competed at the Foot Locker West Regional Cross Country Championships in 2010, finishing 16th overall and earning a spot on the All-West Region second team... Concluded prep career with a third-place finish at the 2011 Sea View League chamionships before placing 11th at the CIF-Southern Section finals... Also competed for South Orange County Wildcats track club and was the 2009 Jr. Olympic Western Regional Champion in the 2000-meter steeplechase... Honored as San Juan Hills HS Scholar-Athlete of the Year and was a four-year honor roll member.
