2008: Competed in four meets... Aggies' top finisher at Hornet Jamboree, placing 7th overall... Also posted scoring places at Doc Adams Open (3rd on team, 13th overall) and Santa Clara Bronco Invite (4th on team, 39th overall).

2007: Only Aggie to race in all six meets... Scored in three events, including the Big West Championship (39th)... Best finish was at Santa Clara Invitational, where was the team's No. 4 runner, 35th overall.

2006: Redshirted... Competed at Aggie Open as an unattached entrant, placing 15th (26:33.6).

TRACK & FIELD: Finished 9th in 3,000 steeplechase (9:35.82) at 2008 Big West Conference championships... Also raced in 1,500 (3:59.55) and 5,000 (15:05.48) during dual action... Ran 5,000 in three meets as a freshman in 2007... Hit season-best 15:19.95 during Woody Wilson Open... Also hit 8:57.03 in 3,000 in Causeway Dual.

SAINT AUGUSTINE HS '06: Earned all-state cross country honors as a senior, placing 6th (15:50) at the CIF state meet... Won San Diego Section Div. III title in 2005, improving from 8th place as a junior... Helped lead Saints to section team title as well... Earned seven all-section awards between cross country and track in his career... Finished 4th (9:20.89) in 3,200 at CIF-SDS meet as a senior, one spot better than his junior finish.

PERSONAL: Born in San Diego, Calif.... Majoring in animal science, having chosen UC Davis for its strength in that program... Parents are Kevin & Jean Suarez... Career plans are to medal in the Olympics, then become a veterinarian.
