UC Davis men's and women's cross country compete in large field at Stanford

2011: Ran in four races for the Aggies, with her best finish coming at the Aggie Open (9/2) where she finished 16th overall with a time of 14:40... Finished 18th overall at Doc Adams Open, clocking in at 21:53.5... Selected to fall Big West Conference All-Academic Team.

2010: Recorded a time of 23:13 in Aggie debut, finishing 101st at Stanford Invitational (9/25)... Placed 89th at Bronco Invitational with a time of 18:36.5 (10/16)... Finished conference meet in a time of 23:23.1 and was team's No. 2 finisher at Doc Adams Open with a time of 22:35.

TRACK AND FIELD: Lone appearance in 1,500 was a 13th-place finish at Aggie Open (4:52.23)... Finished seventh in 3,000 at Causeway Dual with a time of 10:54.87.

DAVIS HS '10: Advanced to 2009 CIF state championship after placing 15th at Sac-Joaquin Division I meet... Placed 7th overall at sections as a junior... Won Delta Valley Conference frosh/soph title in 2008, earning team's Rookie of the Year honors... Three-year CIF-SJS Masters Meet qualifier in 3,200 during track season... Finished 6th, 6th and 7th in that event at section Div. I meet during her career.

PERSONAL: Born in Portland, Ore.... Majoring in nutrition science... Parents are Paul & Amy Teaford... Career highlight was being a member of two section-champion cross country teams (2007 and 2008)... Among her proudest personal accomplishments was completing her Girl Scout Gold Award.
