THOUGHTS FROM COACH WARTENBURG
On the goals for Saturday's meet: "It's a chance for a lot of new freshmen to run their first 8K on the men's side and a few women to run the 6K. We'll also be taking a look at some folks who have been injured. It's a chance for them to get in the mix. We'll get a read on how folks are doing without throwing them to the wolves." On the 5K community race: "It's nice being aable to open our gates to the community who might not even realize that space is there. We can get the word out and allow people to do something a little different and help the program at the same time."
