Aside from Madden, the last UC Davis cross country runner to on the men's team to win the individual title at a conference championships was Jonathan Peterson back in 2010. On the women's team, the last UC Davis cross country runner to win the overall title at a conference championships was Sarah Sumpter, a loved and dearly missed Aggie, back in 2009.
