Struck out shortstop Chris Minaker to seal Aggies' two-game sweep against Stanford in season finale (5/27)... Struck out four batters in 1.2 innings for season's first save vs. Cal (2/14)... Earned relief win at home vs. Sac State (2/4), firing 2.0 scoreless innings... Went four straight outings without an ER (2/19-26), dropping ERA to 1.69 in that span... Induced double play to get Aggies out of 8th-inning jam in 2-1 win over eventual NCAA-champion Oregon State (2/24).

2005: Appeared in 18 games as a reliever... Finished 2-1 with a 3.67 ERA... Struck out 23 batters in 27.0 innings... Longest stint was 4.2 scoreless innings vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, in which he fanned four and allowed just one hit (3/4)... Had four strikeouts on two other occasions: vs. Saint Mary's (2/12) and at Nevada (4/19).

2004: Made 15 appearances, all in relief... Posted perfect 5-0 mark with 2 saves from the pen... Finished with 4.93 ERA... Fired 4.0 scoreless innings at Sacramento State (2/24) to collect first career save... Matched that outing in appearance vs. Sonoma State (2/28), earning first collegiate save... Fanned four and yielded just one hit in those two games... Hurled 3.1 shutout innings vs. UC San Diego (4/4).

PIEDMONT HS '03: Twice earned All-Bay Shore Athletic League... Posted 1.71 ERA with 90 strikeouts in just 65.1 innings as a senior... Fanned 56 in 53 innings with 2.64 ERA as a junior... Hurled first no-hitter as a sophomore, then repeated the feat in his senior season.

PERSONAL: Born in Berkeley, Calif.... Majoring in organizational studies... Parents are Rajive & Debra Aurora... Says the best athletes he's ever faced were the members of the Cuban under-16 national team... Keeps a lucky quarter in his back pocket... Hopes for a career in the film industry... Given the opportunity to gather three historic figures for a dinner, would invite Mark Twain (to whom he's related), Martin Luther King, Jr. and William Wallace.
