AS A JUNIOR (2013): Posted a .272 batting average while making 31 starts at catcher in 39 total appearances...Tallied 14 runs, three doubles and nine RBIs with a .380 on-base percentage...Recorded a hit in 16 of the first 20 games to start the season, including two five-game hitting streaks...Went 3-for-4 with a pair of runs scored at Sacramento State on April 2...Drove in two runs against both Utah on Feb. 22 and at San Jose State on March 25.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012): Appeared in 35 games mainly as a pinch hitter, but also made 12 starts as a catcher and designated hitter... Finished with a .344 batting average and a .459 slugging percentage... Scored seven runs on 21 hits, including four doubles and a home run, and drove in 11 runs... Lone home run of the season came in a 3-for-4 performance at Fresno State on May 2 where he was a triple shy of hitting for the cycle... Drove in two runs in a 1-for-3 outing against Sacramento State on Apr. 17.... Went 2-for-5 at Nevada on May 8 with a run and two RBI.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011): Made 10 appearances as a catcher and pinch hitter in his first season as an Aggie, starting at catcher against San Jose State on Apr. 26... Drove in game-winning run in 2-1 victory over then-No. 18 UC Irvine on Apr. 22 after he reached base on a fielder's choice which allowed a run to cross... First career hit was a two-run homer to left field at Stanford on May 10... Also had a hit against UC Riverside in season finale.
SAN BENITO HS '10: Earned All-Tri County Athletic League first team accolades after leading San Benito HS to a 21-7 overall record and a Central Coast Section quarterfinals appearance for the second straight year... Played for the Mooresville Racers in Mooresville, N.C. from 2004-2007, winning the United States Specialty Sports Association national championship in 2005... Selected to play for a Colorado Rockies scout team... Attended Lake Norman HS as a freshman.
