2007: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT HONORABLE MENTION... Started 44 of 45 games played... Ranked 2nd on team in batting at .362 (71-for-196)... Also was 2nd in homers (4), 3rd in multi-hit games (22), at-bats (196), slugging (.424) and hits (71)... Hit safely in 39 of 45 games... Added 30 runs and 27 RBIs... Enjoyed 14-game hitting streak (4/15-5/6), batting .417 (25-for-60) with 3 HR, 12 runs and 16 RBIs in that stretch... Owned a .509 (27-for-53) batting average against left-handers... Hit .443 as the leadoff hitter... One of two Aggies to enjoy a 4-RBI game, which he did twice: at Loyola Marymount (3/25) and at home vs. Cal State Northridge (5/5)... Went 4-for-5 with 2 runs and 2 RBIs in 10-5 vs. Pacific (4/6).

2006: Started 34 of 41 games played... Batted 34-for-123 (.276)... Was Aggies' toughest strikeout, fanning just seven times in 123 at-bats... Had nine multi-hit games... Rapped out three hits on five different occasions, including 3-for-3 with two runs and a double vs. Cal Poly (5/13)... Hit 3-for-5 with 3 RBI at Santa Clara (3/15)... Recorded 6 sacrifice hits, second on team behind Brandon Oliver.

2005: Played in 16 games, starting 12... Batted .317 (13-for-41) with 3 doubles, 5 runs and 2 steals... Had four multi-hit games, three during a seven-game hitting streak (2/26-3/13)... Went 5-for-8 with 3 RBI in three-game homestand vs. Utah Valley State (3/11-3/13).

2004: Redshirted.

PATRICK HENRY HS '03: Captured second-team All-San Diego Section and first-team All-Eastern League honors as a senior, batting .380 and committing only three errors for the year... Helped team to CIF-SDS Championships in 2003, batting .600 in the playoffs... Twice named to San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic squad for baseball, once for basketball... Two-time Defensive Player of the Year... Batted .420 with 15 steals, 27 runs and 22 RBI in 2002... Voted Most Inspirational in basketball... Played club ball for San Diego Prospects for three years... Named MVP of 2002 July 4th Tournament.

PERSONAL: Born in San Diego... Majoring in economics... Parents are Rick & Fiona Dempsey... Career highlight was his section playoff performance: batted .600, had two game-winning hits and made a barehanded play in a televised game... Wears a wristband over his right elbow as a superstition.
