2007: ALL-DIV. I INDEPENDENT SECOND TEAM... Finished at 5-5 with a 5.28 ERA in 15 appearances... Made 11 starts... Threw a team-high two complete games... Tied Brad McAtee for team lead in strikeouts (57)... Gave up only one home run all season in 76.2 innings pitched... Had season-high 10 strikeouts in eight innings against San Francisco (4/24)... Pitched two consecutive complete games against Nevada (5/1) and Cal State Northridge (5/6) ... Became first-ever player to earn All-Independent Pitcher of the Week honors in three consecutive weeks (4/24, 5/1, 5/8)... Won four straight starts in that span, cutting season ERA from 7.24 to 3.86.

2006: Started 12 of 17 appearances... Went 3-10 with 5.25 ERA... Did not allow an earned run until his sixth appearance (vs. Oral Roberts, 3/3), a stretch of 14.0 innings... Run included two relief wins against ranked teams: No. 13 San Diego (2/12) and No. 8 Oregon State (2/24)... Spun 5.0 scoreless innings in win at Santa Clara (3/15)... Lasted 7.1 innings with no earned runs vs. Long Beach State (4/23).

TESORO HS '05: Named Pacific Coast League Player of the Year as a senior, finishing with an 8-1 mark and 1.52 ERA... Garnered All-Southern Section honors as well... Went 8-5 with a 2.46 ERA in 2004, earning first-team All-PCL and second-team all-section distinction... Batted .340 in each of his last two seasons and led team with 5 HR as a senior... Played summer ball for OC Angels and Saddleback Devils.

PERSONAL: Born in Mission Viejo, Calif.... Majoring in food science... Parents are Craig & Debbie Evans... Career highlight was pitching at Dodger Stadium for the Southern Section playoffs.
