PERSONAL: Born in Thousand Oaks, Calif.... Majoring in civil engineering... Parents are David & Linda Hirneise... Proudest personal accomplishment was participating in the World Wood Bat Championships in Florida, during which he hit a game-winning double to beat Puerto Rico.
