2008: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Included in revised "Watch List" (top 100 players nationally) for Brooks Wallace Player of the Year ... Started 55 of 58 games, primarily at third... Led Big West Conference in batting at .397 (94-for-237)... Ranked 2nd in conference with 94 hits... Batting average and hits total rank 2nd and 3rd, respectively, in school history... Led Aggies in both slugging (.527) and on-base (.448)... Hit 17 doubles, one triple and 4 homers for 125 total bases... Shared team lead with 28 multi-hit games, including nine 3-hit games and four 4-hit games... Also had 10 multi-RBI showings... Held hitting streaks of 11 and 13 games during the season... Batted .493 (29-for-59) with 21 runs scored in the 13-game streak (4/12-5/4)... Only had nine games in which he did not record a hit... Batted .471 (33-for-70) with runners in scoring position... Hit .438 in 14 Friday games (against team's top pitcher)... Selected to All-Tournament Team at Stanford Regional, hitting 8-for-13 with 2 doubles in three games... Went 7-for-14 with 2 doubles, homer and 5 RBI in three-game series vs. Cal State Fullerton (4/25-27)... Had back-to-back 4-hit games vs. UC Santa Barbara (4/12-4/13), immediately followed by 3-hit games against Sacramento State (4/15) and Cal Poly (4/18)... Hit a grand slam in Nevada (3/12), the first of two hits in that inning.
LOYOLA MARYMOUNT: Played as a freshman in 2007... Saw limited action due to a muscle pull, appearing in 11 games (with one start)... Batted 1-for-7 (.143) with 2 runs and a stolen base.
ST. MARY'S HS '06: Batted just shy of .400 with six homers as a senior, earning All-Tri-City Athletic League and all-area honors... Voted team MVP and won Jason Vanover Baseball Scholarship... Selected to 2006 City vs. County All-Star Game... Garnered all-tournament honors at California North/South Series and Bay Area World Series during summer ball... Represented California at Oklahoma Sunbelt Baseball Classic in 2006... Also member of powerhouse Rams basketball team that won Sac-Joaquin Section and NorCal championships, advancing to state Division III title game... Named as All-TCAL Defensive Player of the Year, averaging 10 points, 3 steals, 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game.
