UC Davis takes on Big West rival Cal Poly in final regular season series
Long-time rivals UC Davis and Stanford meet on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
The UC Davis baseball team will meet their third nationally ranked team in the last five weeks at UC Irvine.

2011: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... Started 14-of-15 games, finishing with a 5-8 record and a 2.36 earned run average, the lowest since Greg Bruso's 1.94 ERA in 2002... Struck out 69 batters in 103 innings of work, allowing 93 hits and just 27 earned runs... Struck out seven in 7.2 innings against Milwaukee on Mar. 11, allowing just one unearned run... Threw first complete game of his Aggie career on Mar. 5 against Fresno State, striking out a career-high eight batters and holding the Bulldogs to just three runs... Limited Cal State Fullerton to just one run on six hits in eight innings on Apr. 2... Did not allow a run in eight innings against Cal State Northridge on Apr. 30, striking out five... Pitched second complete game of the year against UC Santa Barbara on May 21, holding the Gauchos to just one run and seven hits and striking out seven.
2010: Started all 7 games he appeared in... Went 3-3 with 6.98 ERA in 38.2 innings... Struck out a season-high 5 batters while giving up only 2 earned runs on 6 hits in 7.0 innings in win vs. Sacramento State (3/6)... Fanned four batters against Utah (2/20) and BYU (2/26) in first two starts of the season.
2009: Appeared in 8 games, starting 3... Went 2-1 with 4.88 ERA in 24.0 innings... Toughest Aggie pitcher to hit, allowing .224 average against him... Surrendered just one hit in 6.0 scoreless vs. Santa Clara (5/12), earning first collegiate win... Fanned six batters with no walks in 7.0 a week later for win vs. Stanford (5/19).
VALLEY CHRISTIAN HS '08: Twice earned All-West Catholic Athletic League honors, helping team to league and Central Coast Section titles as a junior and senior... Also won All-San Jose Mercury News second-team distinction in 2008... Credited as winning pitcher in CCS title game that year... Combined for 19-3 record during final two seasons... Played club ball for Starmaker Titans in San Mateo from 2000-03.
