Went 2-for-4 in collegiate debut against Utah on Feb. 17... Went 3-for-5 and scored twice at Hawai'i on Mar. 29, then scored a season-high three runs against Pacific on Apr. 14... Turned a triple play in the third inning of a 9-8 extra-inning victory over Utah on Feb. 20... Recorded an eight-game hitting streak during final weeks of the season, beginning on Apr. 28 at UC Santa Barbara... Went 15-for-35 (.428) with four runs and two RBI during the stretch.

EL CERRITO HS '10: Earned back-to-back Alameda Contra Costa County Athletic League's Most Valuable Player selections in 2009 and 2010... Also selected to ACCAL first team both years... Recorded .450 batting average to go with seven doubles, four triples and a home run as a junior in 2009.... Followed that with a .404 average and five triples and three home runs during his senior campaign, leading El Cerrito HS to the North Coast Section championship game... Four-year honor roll selection... Advanced to Connie Mack World Series with Danville Hoots club team after winning the Connie Mack West Region championship in 2009
