Finished as team's second-best hitter with a .306 batting average and a .344 slugging percentage... Drove in 17 RBI, including three against Utah on Feb. 19... Went 2-for-4 in collegiate debut against Utah on Feb. 17... Went 3-for-5 and scored twice at Hawai'i on Mar. 29, then scored a season-high three runs against Pacific on Apr. 14... Turned a triple play in the third inning of a 9-8 extra-inning victory over Utah on Feb. 20... Recorded an eight-game hitting streak during final weeks of the season, beginning on Apr. 28 at UC Santa Barbara... EL CERRITO HS '10: Earned back-to-back Alameda Contra Costa County Athletic League's Most Valuable Player selections in 2009 and 2010... Also selected to ACCAL first team both years... Followed that with a .404 average and five triples and three home runs during his senior campaign, leading El Cerrito HS to the North Coast Section championship game... Four-year honor roll selection... Advanced to Connie Mack World Series with Danville Hoots club team after winning the Connie Mack West Region championship in 2009 PERSONAL: Parents are Stefan Lipson and Jane Breyer and has one younger sister, Madeline... Majoring in exercise biology... Lists Robinson Cano as his sports hero.
