2017: Appeared in 39 games for the Aggies, making 29 starts... Hit .214 on the year, scoring 12 runs, slugging six doubles, a home run, and driving in nine... Tied a career high with three hits in the series finale against Utah Valley on Feb. 26... Also logged six, two-hit games... Drove in two runs twice against UNLV (Feb. 19) and UC Irvine (May 27)... Slugged his second career home run at home against UC Riverside on May 12 -- a pinch-hit solo shot to tie the game in the ninth inning of an eventual 4-3 win... Scored a career-high three runs in the first game of a doubleheader at Hawai'i on April 22 to go along with two hits.

2016: Appeared in 37 games, making 30 starts... The Aggies' leading hitter at .333 on the season, slugging five doubles, a triple, a home run, and driving in 19... Slugging .423 on the season with a .402 on-base percentage... Walked 12 times and scored 12 runs... Finished fourth on the team with 10 multi-hit games and tied for the team lead with five multi-RBI games... Missed 13 games toward the end of the year after fouling a pitch off his foot at Pacific on April 30... Posted a season-high six-game hitting streak from Feb. 26-March 9, batting .455 (10-for-22) with three RBI, while finishing the year reaching base safely in each of his last nine contests... Finished with a season-high three hits three times against Utah Valley (Feb. 28), San Francisco (March 1), and in the season finale against Cal Poly (May 28)... Drove in a season-high four runs thanks to a triple and a pair of walks against San Francisco on April 5... Finished with a pair of hits and drove in three against Air Force on March 25... Slugged his first career home run against UC Irvine on April 22.

2015: Appeared in six games as a pinch hitter... Scored a run against UC Riverside on March 29 after being hit by a pitch.

2014: Appeared in 12 games, making four starts... Made his first career appearance as a pinch-hitter on Feb. 15 against Seattle... Collected his first career hit at the Division I level in his first career start with a 1-for-2 performance at San Jose State on March 8... Drove in a pair of runs with a double against Long Beach State on April 13 for his first career extra-base hit... Also had a hit against San Jose State on March 9.

ST. FRANCIS HS '13: Hit .371 with 36 hits and a .466 on-base percentage as a senior for the Lancers to go along with 30 RBIs... Also posted a 1.27 ERA in just under 28 innings on the mound as the team's closer... helped the Lancers to a Central Coast Section Division I title as a senior with a 30-4 overall record, driving in four runs during the championship game against a Serra HS that listed future teammates Orlando Razo and Blake Peters on its roster... Named to the West Catholic Athletic League Second Team as a senior.

PERSONAL: Born in Monterey, Calif... parents are Raymond and Janet Cardinalli... has an older sister, Katie, and an older brother, Raymond... Community & Regional Development major... His father played football (1974-77) and baseball (1975) at Stanford... His grandfather, Sal, played football at San Jose State from 1951-53.
