UC Davis will complete the second half of its home-and-home series with Causeway rival, Sacramento State, tomorrow (May 8) at 6 p.m. at John Smith Field.

Three-year varsity letter winner for the Chieftans… All-league, all-county, and All-CIF Central Coast Section selection as a senior, hitting .350… Hit .330 as a junior with 17 runs scored, seven extra-base hits, and nine RBI… "Triple crown" winner for the Chieftans, leading the team in average, home runs, and RBI, en route to all-county honors from the Monterey Herald… Also named to the All-Monterey Bay League Gabilan Division first team and the All-CIF Central Coast Section honorable mention squad… Hit .310 in 24 games as a sophomore en route to all-conference and All-CIF Central Coast Section honorable mention laurels… Finished with 18 steals as a junior… Helped his travel team, South Bay Legacy, to the Palomino World Series title in Compton, Calif., this past summer… Also played two years of basketball and football… Another in a line of Aggies: his father, Jason, ran track at UC Davis and his mother is a 1992 graduate.

Parents are Jason and Kim, both of whom are UC Davis graduates (Class of '92)… Father ran track at UC Davis… Has an older sister, Kelly, who also attends UC Davis… Lists his proudest personal accomplishment as receiving a scholarship to UC Davis… If he could play another sport at UC Davis, it would be basketball… Lists his sports hero as Muhammad Ali.
