2007: Started 15 games, finishing at 4-4 and team-best 3.76 ERA (9th among D-I Independents)... Led Aggies with 93.1 innings pitched while sharing team lead with 57 strikeouts... Had complete-game victories vs. Cal State Northridge (5/4)... Also went 9.0 innings vs. Washington State (5/25), allowing just five hits and a run in no-decision... Narrowly missed a third CG, scattering 7 hits with 2 ER in 8.2 innings of work vs. UC Santa Barbara (3/18)... Fanned season-best 8 against 3 walks in wins vs. Saint Mary's (2/13) and Cal State Northridge (5/4)... Surrendered 7 hits, all singles, in win over Gaels.

2006: Appeared in 18 games, making 4 starts... Finished 0-4 with an 8.51 ERA... Struck out 39 batters, 3rd on team... Did not allow an earned run in first 11.1 innings (2/10-25), including 4-inning relief stints vs. San Diego (2/11) and Utah (2/18).

POWAY HS '05: Earned second-team All-North County and first-team All-Palomar League honors in 2005... Went 7-4 with 67 strikeouts as a senior, 4-3 with 2 saves as a junior... Named to San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic team as a junior and senior... Helped team to 14-1 record and Palomar League title in 2005... Played summer ball for Southland Shockers... Fired a four-hitter at the Connie Mack West Regionals.

PERSONAL: Born in La Jolla, Calif.... Majoring in managerial economics... Parents are Joe & Amy McAtee... Career highlight was becoming the first pitcher from Poway HS to beat rival Rancho Bernardo in nine years.
