2005: Made 17 pitching appearances, including three starts... Finished 1-1 with 6.56 ERA in 35.2 innings... Made collegiate debut vs. Sacramento State, hurling 3.0 relief innings with no ER (2/13)... Also named that year to All-Central Coast Section and All-San Jose Mercury News first teams as an outfielder... Won All-WCAL second-team honors as a junior, honorable mention as a sophomore... Helped lead team to 27-10 record and CIF-CCS D-II title in 2002... Played summer ball for NorCal Baseball and Santa Clara Red Sox... Selected as No. 1 arm at 2002 Junior Olympics, leading team to 4th-place finish... Red Sox captured Palomino World Series title in 2004.
