2012: LOUISVILLE SLUGGER FRESHMAN ALL-AMERICAN... ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Started 40 games, mostly at designated hitter, as a redshirt freshman... Finished the year hitting .302 and held a .450 slugging percentage with an on-base percentage of .392... Was second on the team with four home runs and 26 RBI... Had six RBI in second half of a doubleheader against Pacific on April 14... Drove in three and popped a home run in a losing effort against Cal Poly on May 5... First career hit came in season opener against Utah... Put together 11-game hitting streak during latter half of the season, starting with a 1-for-4 outing at UC Riverside on Apr. 22.
