CAREER RANKS:At the end of senior season (2013), Politi ranks No. 3 all-time in program history in both hits (228) and at-bats (773), No. 4 in games played (197), No. 5 in doubles (44) and No. 9 in RBIs (114).

2013: Started all 56 games for the Aggies at third base and batted third in the lineup in each game as well...Hit .265 in a team-high 230 at-bats in his senior season...Led the team with 41 runs scored, 13 doubles and five home runs...The standout finished his five-year career with 228 hits in 773 at-bats, 44 doubles, one triple, 12 home runs, 65 walks, 106 runs scored and 114 RBIs...Had a game to remember in a series sweep clinching win over UC Riverside on April 21 when he went 4-for-5 with four runs scored, four RBIs, a double, two home runs and a walk...Also had a season-best four hits against Nevada on March 12...Carried a 10-game hitting streak into the season and extended it to 19 games after posting 13 hits in the first nine games of the season.

2012: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... Only Aggie to play all 57 games, starting every contest at 3B... Led team in most categories, notably batting (.345), at-bats (229), hits (79), multi-hit games (25), multi-RBI games (6), RBIs (32), total bases (101) and sac flies (5)... HIts total ranks T10th in school history, matching Tony Schifano's 1997 total... Slugged .441 with .395 on-base average for .836 OPS, second on team behind Nick Lynch... Also amassed 24 runs, 13 doubles and three homers... Improved to .361 (35-for-97) in Big West play... Ranked T8th in conference in batting, T3rd in hits, T5th in total bases... Hit safely in team-best 13 games from Apr. 20-May 11, hitting .383 (23-for-60) in that stretch... Ended the season with another 10-game streak (May 13-27) that carries into 2013... In all, rapped at least one hit in 23 of last 24 games of the year, raising his average by 50 points... Pounded 4 hits at CSU Bakersfield (Feb. 24) and Cal Poly (May 4).

2011: Started 29 games before sitting out the rest of the season due to injury, batting .255 with 26 hits, 12 runs and 11 RBI during that span... Opened the season with a 3-for-4 performance against Sacramento State on Feb. 20, which included a home run... Put together a five-game hitting streak, starting with a 1-for-4 outing against San Francisco on Feb. 26... Went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI against Utah on Mar. 10... Followed that with a 2-for-4 performance against San Jose State, scoring two runs... Stole two bases on the year.

2010:Posted .292 average (62-of-212) with 29 runs, 15 doubles and 3 home runs... Knocked in 35 RBI... Scored four runs against Cal State Northridge on a 4-for-6 performance that included a home run (5/2)... Hit first collegiate homer in a 3-for-5 outing against Fresno State Mar. 28... Final home run of the season was a solo shot on his only hit against UC Santa Barbara May 21... Rode an eight-game hitting streak starting with a 2-for-4 performance against UC Irvine Apr. 25... Went 16-for-33 (.485) with seven runs and five RBI during the streak... Closed out the season hitting cleanly in the final four straight games.

2009: Redshirted.

LOS GATOS HS '08: Earned All-De Anza League first-team honors as a junior and senior, after capturing honorable mention as a sophomore... Picked up first-team All-Central Coast Section acclaim in 2008... Helped team to consecutive DAL pennants in 2006 and 2007, including a CCS title in 2006... Head coach was former Aggie outfielder Brad Sanfilippo... Batted .477 with 17 doubles, 4 homers and .590 on-base average as a senior... Nabbed MVP honors in North-South all-star game... Selected to All-Bay World Series first team... Played for Los Gatos All-Net from 2002-03, helping team claim national runner-up finish.

PERSONAL: Born in San Jose, Calif.... Majoring in environmental horticulture & urban forestry... Parents are Dennis & Deb Politi... Hopes to play professional baseball then start a career in construction after graduating from UC Davis.
