2015: Opened the season as the Sunday starter, but moved into the Saturday role midway through the season... Made 15 appearances on the mound for the Aggies, starting 14 games... Finished the season 6-4 overall with a 3.95 ERA... Led the team in strikeouts (69) and innings (95.2)... Ranked 10th in the Big West in innings and tied for ninth in batters struck out looking (22)... Compiled seven "quality starts" on the year... Earned his first win of the season in his second career start against Gonzaga on Feb. 22, striking out three in 8.1 innings in a 10-5 UC Davis win... Threw 7.2 shutout innings, allowing just two hits and striking out a career-high nine hitters at Fresno State on March 15... Followed that up with an eight-strikeout performance in his next start against UC Riverside, allowing just seven hits in seven innings on March 29... Went at least seven innings in 10 of his 14 starts, allowing two earned runs or fewer in seven of those... Also had a hand in a second shutout, throwing an inning of relief, allowing a hit and striking out one at San Francisco on March 24.

2014: Appeared in 21 games out of the bullpen for the Aggies... Shared the team lead in victories with a 4-1 record to go along with a 3.45 ERA... Posted three saves on the year -- good for second on the team -- against Cal State Northridge (May 3), Sacramento State (May 13), and Hawai'i (May 17)... held opponents to a .210 average on the season... Finished with 27 strikeouts in 44.1 innings of work, including a career-high four in a pair of scoreless innings to earn the win against Santa Clara (March 7)... Earned his first career win in the Aggies' 4-3 victory over Seattle on Feb. 15, allowing a run on a hit in three innings of relief... Scattered just two hits in two shutout innings to nail down a 3-2 win over Santa Clara on March 7... Helped UC Davis open its series with Long Beach State with a win, throwing 2.1 innings of hitless, scoreless relief on April 11... Allowed a single hit and struck out one in a scoreless eighth to earn the win against Saint Mary's on April 22... Combined with Spencer Koopmans on an 11-0 shutout of Cal State Northridge (May 3), allowing just two hits and striking out a pair in three innings... Surrendered only one earned run over his final six appearances (11.2 innings), striking out eight... Named to the Big West Conference spring All-Academic Team.

2013: Did not play.

2012: Made one appearance in relief, allowing a run on a hit while striking out one in one inning of work against Big West Conference rival Cal Poly on May 5.

2011: Redshirted the season.

EL CERRITO HS '10: Finished 8-2 with 2.63 ERA as a senior... Also fanned 104 batters against just 20 walks in 93.1 innings, earning All-Diablo Foothill Athletic League honors... Fired 8.1 shutout frames in North Coast Section title game, leading Matadors to D-III section banner... Made 9 relief appearances as a junior, allowing just one earned run (0.37 ERA) and 9 hits in 19.0 innings... Helped Danville Hoots summer ball team to Connie Mack West Region title and state finals berth.

PERSONAL: Born in San Francisco, Calif... Parents are Morris Jacobson & Brenda Reyes... Brenda is a UC Davis grad, which played a part in his decision to attend the university... Cousin of seven-year major league pitcher Fernando Arroyo.
