UC Davis looks to climb the Big West standings in the final series of the regular season.
For the first time in program history, the Aggies and the Lobos will meet on the diamond for a three-game set this weekend, beginning Friday (May 18) at 6:30 p.m.
UC Davis will face the Dons of San Francisco in its final midweek clash of the season on Tuesday (May 15) at 3 p.m. at Benedetti Diamond.
The Aggies will take on their seventh conference opponent of the season, CSUN, this weekend, beginning Friday (May 11) at 3 p.m. at Matador Field.
2017: Appeared in 14 games on the mound for the Aggies, making 13 starts... Finished the season 2-7 overall with a 4.30 ERA, striking out 56 in 75.1 innings of work and holding opponents to a .273 average... Named the Big West Conference Pitcher of the Week on May 8, after throwing a three-hit shutout while striking out a career-high 11 batters in the nightcap of a doubleheader at UC Santa Barbara to clinch the series... Earned the second save of his career by pitching the final three innings at Creight in the series opener on March 26... Took home his first win of the season with a three-hit, two-run, seven-inning performance in a "quality start" against CSUN on March 31... Struck out nine in a no-decision against Utah Valley on Feb. 24.
2016: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... BIG WEST ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM... Appeared in 18 games, making 11 starts... Opened the year in the bullpen, not allowing a run in 21 innings of work while striking out 29 and holding opponents to a .125 average... Made his first career start in a mid-week game against Stanford on March 21, striking out three and allowing a hit in two innings, before moving into the weekend rotation as the Friday night starter... Finished the year 3-5 with a 2.73 ERA and a save in 85.2 innings... Finished with 78 strikeouts and a .208 average against on the year... Ranked eighth in the Big West in ERA, sixth in opponent batting average, 10th in strikeouts, and eighth in fewest hits allowed (66)... Earned his first career win in his first Friday start against Air Force on March 24, allowing one earned run on three hits while striking out a season-high nine over seven innings... Went at least six innings in all of his weekend starts... Earned his second win of the season in the opener against UC Irvine, allowing two unearned runs on three hits while striking out six over 6.1 innings... Also posted a win over Pacific on April 29, striking out five without a walk over six innings in a 9-4 victory... Fell one strikeout shy of his career high against nationally ranked UC Santa Barbara, striking out eight in the opener, but stuck with a no-decision in a 6-2 UC Davis win... Earned his first career save against Santa Clara on Feb. 25, striking out six over three perfect innings... Struck out at least five batters in half of his 18 appearances... Ranked No. 65 in the nation with just 6.93 hits allowed per nine innings and ranked No. 109 with a 1.11 WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched).

MODESTO CHRISTIAN HS '14: Four-year letter winner for the Crusaders... Four-time All-Trans Valley League honoree, including first team honors as a senior... Finished his senior season with a 0.89 ERA and 102 strikeouts, while also hitting .369 as a pitcher/first baseman for the Crusaders... Ranked third in the Sac-Joaquin Section in strikeouts and 16th in ERA... Also drove in 27 runs and slugged four home runs -- ranking seventh in the section as a senior... Struck out five and allowed just one hit in two innings of work for the East squad at the Modesto Sunrise Rotary Baseball All-Star game... Four-year member of the honor roll.
