SAN JOAQUIN DELTA COLLEGE: Named a 2012 California Community College Baseball Coaches Association All-American and a unanimous All-Big 8 first team selection in final season with San Joaquin Delta College after posting a .380 batting average to go with 11 doubles, six home runs and 33 RBI... All-Big 8 second team honoree in 2011 with a .300 batting average and 32 RBI which helped lead San Joaquin Delta College to the California Community College State Championship title... Three times Dean's Honor Roll selection... Also played for the ELmira Pioneers in Elmira, N.Y. in the summer of 2012 and was named a Perfect Game College League (PGCBL) All-Star as well as an all-league first team selection.
SAINT MARY'S HS '10: Led the Rams to back-to-back CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Div. I championships and consecutive Tri-County Athletic League titles in 2009 and 2010... Posted .341 batting average, six home runs and 34 RBIs as a senior in 2010 to earn All-TCAL honors... Also lettered twice in football and was a 2009 All-TCAL first team selection after helping Saint Mary's to a second straight conference championship and the 2008 CIF-Sac-Joaquin Section Div. I championship... Recorded 87 tackles and two sacks to earn all-area honorable mention accolades.
PERSONAL: Parents are Fred and Liza Patterson... Communication major... Father, Fred, is a 1980 UC Davis alum and two-year member of the Aggie football team... Youngest of three sons, including brothers Maurice and James... Not many people know that he was in his high school band for one year.
