Young's Single Leads Baseball By UC Riverside

Adam Young's two-run single in the sixth inning helped the Aggies to their first league win of the year.

J SERRA CATHOLIC HS: Earned Rawlings Preseason All-American honors as a senior after picking up an All-Trinity League honorable mention selection as a utility player in 2011... Posted .310 batting average with nine RBI while also recording a 1.07 earned run average in 13 innings pitched... Named to All-Elite Baseball Series first team as a junior... Concluded his prep campaign with a .345 batting average and hit .415 during Trinity League play, the second-highest average in the conference... Picked up first team all-league honors.
