PERSONAL: Born in Walnut Creek, Calif.... Majoring in sociology... Parents are John & Diane Watson, both UC Davis grads... John was an Aggie golfer in the 1970s... Perhaps not surprisingly, sports hero is another tall lefty pitcher: Randy Johnson.
