2017: Appeared in 24 games out of the bullpen, finishing with a 5-3 record, five saves, and a 3.45 ERA... Struck out 20 in 31.1 innings, holding opponents to a .273 average... Posted wins over Utah Valley (Feb. 26), UConn (March 10), Sacramento State (April 4), Saint Mary's (May 2), and UC Riverside (May 12)... Earned his first save of the season in the first game of a doubleheader against UC Santa Barbara, striking out a season-high three over two innings... Also posted saves against the Highlanders (May 13), Nevada (May 16), Pacific (May 22), and UC Irvine (May 27)... Tied his season high with three more strikeouts against the Hornets.
2016: Moved into the starting rotation and appeared in two games before injury sidelined him for the rest of the year... Posted a 1-1 record with a 7.88 ERA in 8.0 innings of work, making a pair of starts... Earned his only win of the season against Santa Clara on Feb. 25, throwing six shutout innings and allowing only three hits while striking out nine in an evenutal 8-0 UC Davis win.
2015: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE SECOND TEAM... NCBWA "STOPPER OF THE YEAR" INITIAL WATCH LIST... Appeared in 33 games as the Aggies' closer, finishing 3-3 overall with a 1.14 ERA... Set the UC Davis career saves record (22) by nailing down a 5-3 win over CSUN on May 8... Finished the year ranked No. 21 in the NCAA in saves and No. 24 in appearances... Finished with 13 saves as a sophomore to rank second on the school's single-season list and stand second in the Big West... His 33 appearances led the conference... Struck out 42 batters in 39.1 innings, ending the year with a 6-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio... Opponents hit just .216 against him on the season... Opened the year with back-to-back saves in both of the Aggies' wins at Texas State and saved both of the team's wins at Fresno State, two of the three wins against Pacific, and both of the team's victories against Cal Poly... Threw a career-high 4.1 innings of relief against nationally ranked UC Irvine (April 18), allowing an earned run on three hits and striking out a career-high four... Save total ranked fourth in the Big West while his 25 appearances were tied for ninth in the league... The nine saves rank second on the school's single-season list and tied for eighth on the UC Davis career list in that category... Earned his first collegiate save with 3.2 innings of scoreless relief against Portland on Feb. 23, scattering just two hits and striking out a career-high four... Collected his first win at the Division I level against San Jose State on March 11, allowing a hit and striking out two in 2.2 innings... Also earned the win against Nevada on March 25, allowing a hit and striking out three in three innings... Beat Cal State Northridge on the road on May 4, allowing a run on two hits in 1.1 innings of relief... Posted saves in back-to-back appearances against Saint Mary's (April 2) and No. 18 Cal State Fullerton (April 4), pitching a combined 2.2 innings without allowing a hit or run... Went a stretch of 13.1 without allowing an earned run from March 7-April 4.
