2014: ALL-BIG WEST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION... NCBWA STOPPER OF THE YEAR MID-SEASON WATCH LIST... Made 25 appearances as the Aggies' closer... Finished 3-4 with a 3.14 ERA and nine saves... Save total ranked fourth in the Big West while his 25 appearances were tied for ninth in the league... The nine saves rank second on the school's single-season list and tied for eighth on the UC Davis career list in that category... Earned his first collegiate save with 3.2 innings of scoreless relief against Portland on Feb. 23, scattering just two hits and striking out a career-high four... Collected his first win at the Division I level against San Jose State on March 11, allowing a hit and striking out two in 2.2 innings... Also earned the win against Nevada on March 25, allowing a hit and striking out three in three innings... Beat Cal State Northridge on the road on May 4, allowing a run on two hits in 1.1 innings of relief... Posted saves in back-to-back appearances against Saint Mary's (April 2) and No. 18 Cal State Fullerton (April 4), pitching a combined 2.2 innings without allowing a hit or run... Went a stretch of 13.1 without allowing an earned run from March 7-April 4.

EUREKA HS '13: Four-year varsity starter... Named Big 5 League MVP as a sophomore in 2010... Led the league in strikeouts as a junior with 102 and posted a 1.77 ERA... Also played shortstop for the Loggers.

PERSONAL:Born in Arcata, Calif... Majoring in civil engineering... Parents are Jon and Mary Stone... Has two younger sisters, Lauren and Olivia... Father played baseball at Nevada for one season in 1988... Also considered Oregon, Saint Mary's, Sacramento State, Miami, and Duke, before selecting UC Davis.
