DAVIS, Calif. - Thursday's scheduled baseball game at Dobbins Stadium between UC Davis and Sacramento State has been postponed due to inclement weather and has been moved to May 8 at 2:00 p.m.
The game was scheduled to be the opening contest in the annual River City Classic, which runs over a three-day period. The Aggies will now open the River City Classic tomorrow afternoon as they welcome defending national champion Oregon State to Dobbins Stadium for a 2 p.m. game.
This is the first time this season that rain has caused a delay in the Aggies' schedule. UC Davis enters tomorrow's game with a 3-5 overall record while the Beavers are 9-1 on the season.
The Aggies are also in action on Saturday as they cap the River City Classic with 1 p.m. game with the University of San Francisco.
