DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis baseball team will travel to Fresno State for a non-conference matchup at 6:05 p.m. on Wednesday at Blethen Field in Fresno.

UC Davis (16-23) and Fresno State (18-22) will meet for just the first time this year after an Apr. 10 contest in Davis was cancelled.

The game will be broadcast on KDVS 90.3 FM with an internet simulcast on ucdavisaggies.com. Gametracker live stats will also be available.

Evan Wolf will start on the mound for UC Davis, facing Fresno State's Will Munro. Wolf's last outing was a dominant one as the sophomore righty carried a no-hitter into the seventh inning against San Francisco on Apr. 24. He walked two and hit one batter until giving up a one-out double in the bottom of the seventh.

Wolf would go on to give up just two runs on two hits to pick up his first collegiate win as UC Davis topped the Dons 5-2.

Munro, a freshman right-handed pitcher, owns a 1-2 record and a 4.15 ERA. He's struck out 24 batters in 21.2 innings of work.

Over the weekend, UC Davis dropped two of three games to UC Santa Barbara to fall to 4-8 in Big West action. Offensively, the Aggies were led by freshman Kevin Barker who hit his first career home run in Friday's loss, then repeated with a two-run shot on Saturday to help UC Davis to a 10-6 win. Barker is batting .305 and owns a .467 slugging percentage.

Fresno State is 3-3 over its last six games after losing a three-game series at Nevada. Trent Garrison (.316) and Aaron Judge (.315) are the Bulldogs' leading hitters. Garrison owns a team-high 19 RBI while Judge has scored a team-best 28 runs. Judge and Patrick Hutcheson have combined to steal 20 bases in 25 attempts.

With Wednesday's trip to Fresno, UC Davis closes out an eight-game road trip as the Aggies host Cal Poly in a Big West Conference series beginning Friday. The Aggies will play seven of their next eight games in Davis.
