SCOUTING SAINT MARY'S: The Gaels enter the week with a 28-15 overall record and an 11-7 mark in West Coast Conference play after taking 2-of-3 from league-leading Gonzaga over the weekend in Spokane, Wash… Saint Mary's is 7-2 in mid-week games this season, including a 5-2 win over UC Davis on the road back on March 14… The Gaels have won seven of their last 10 overall and have claimed series wins in each of their last four WCC weekend series… Freshman Kevin Milam leads all regulars with a .317 average, scoring 32 runs, slugging 11 doubles, and slamming eight home runs while driving in 33… Milam is also 1-1 with a 1.54 ERA in 17 appearances on the mound, saving nine games… Tuesday's starter, right-hander Cameron Neff, is a perfect 4-0 this season with a 5.90 ERA, allowing 56 hits and striking out 38 in 50.1 innings of work, while opponents are hitting .286 against him.

SERIES NOTES: According to records that date back to the 1962 season, Saint Mary's leads the all-time series with UC Davis, 57-44-1, including a 2-0 mark this season after posting wins of 6-4 and 5-3 on Feb. 17 and March 14, respectively… With their wins earlier this season, the Gaels have won four straight in the series with the Aggies… UC Davis' last win in the series came on March 31, 2015, with an 11-2 win at home… The series at Dobbins is tied with 23 wins apiece, with the locations of 22 games in the history of the series unknown.

CONFERENCE CALL: UC Davis has faced all 10 members of the current West Coast Conference alignment, having posting a 184-214-4 (.463) record against the league… The Aggies have lost their last two against the league -- both defeats coming this season against Saint Mary's -- and having won since sweeping Pacific in a three-game series back on April 29-May 1 of last season… Aside from its mark against Saint Mary's, the Aggies have also faced: BYU (1-3); Gonzaga (4-4); Loyola Marymount (2-1); Pacific (49-49-1); Pepperdine (1-6); Portland (9-14); San Diego (2-5); San Francisco (30-45-2); and Santa Clara (29-43).

OLSON SETS NEW DIVISION I STANDARD: With his team-best sixth home run of the season in the opener against No. 9 Long Beach State last weekend, senior Cameron Olson collected the 15th long ball of his career, putting him past former Aggie greats David Popkins (2009-12) and Kyle Mihaylo (2008-10) for the most in the program's Division I Era. Now standing just two shy of the program's all-time top 10 in the career category, the six home runs are tied for third on the program's single-season Division I list -- the most since Mihaylo slugged seven in 2010 and four back of Ryan Royster's record of 10 in 2008.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: A correction has been made to the 2017 UC Davis schedule, as the Aggies’ final home series of the regular season against Grand Canyon now begins on Thursday (May 18) at 2:30 p.m., with the final two games scheduled for Friday (May 19) at 2:30 p.m., and Saturday (May 20) at 1 p.m., at Phil Swimley Field at Dobbins Stadium. The Aggies will honor their seniors prior to first pitch of the series finale with the Antelopes on Saturday.
