Former Swarthmore College associate head coach Brendan McShea enters his first season with UC Davis basketball as its video coordinator/operations assistant. Throughout his tenure, McShea coached six all-conference players, a conference player of the year and the program's first All-American.

Prior to Swarthmore, he served as an assistant coach at Allegheny College and Culver-Stockton College.

McShea holds an undergraduate degree in English from the College of William & Mary and a master's in sports administration from Central Missouri University.
