Now in his third year on the Aggie staff, DuBois brings experience from the highest levels of collegiate and professional basketball. His responsibilities will comprise all aspects of the UC Davis basketball program, including on-court instruction, recruiting and scouting.
Originally from Lodi, Calif., DuBois began his collegiate playing career as a walk-on at Arizona State. He eventually earned his way as a scholarship player in his last two years and served as team captain as a senior. DuBois also captured Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mention and was voted Most Inspirational by his Sun Devil teammates. He earned his bachelor's of arts in secondary education in May 1999.
DuBois stayed with the ASU basketball program as a graduate assistant, handling both on-court and administrative duties. During this two-year stint, he completed his master's degree in curriculum and instruction.
After departing ASU, DuBois joined the Phoenix Suns scouting department as an assistant video coordinator. His responsibilities included preparation of advance scouting reports, producing materials for use in the draft and free-agent acquisitions, and on-court instruction in team workouts and drills. DuBois was elevated to assistant coach for the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA in 2002. In addition to continued duties as video coordinator for the club, he was also responsible for scouting the 2002 World Championships in Nanjing, China.
He most recently was coach of the Tijuana Galgos for which former Aggie standout Ryan Moore plays.
