2012-13: Ended the season ranked No. 3 in defensive rebounds (5.6) and No. 5 in the Big West in rebounding (7.5 rpg)... Grabbed 10 or more rebounds in 10 games... Scored 10 or more points in five games... Posted the first double-double of the season for UC Davis by recording 11 pts. and 13 rebs. at Oklahoma State (11/9)... Set a new career high for the second time of the season with his 15-rebound effort at Sacramento State (11/20)... Five games after setting a new season high at Sacramento State, Howley tied that mark by recording 15 rebounds vs. Southern Illinois (12/20), a single-game tournament record at the World Vision Challenge in Logan, Utah... Recorded his second double-double of the season by finishing with 11 rebs. and 10 pts. vs. Nicholls State (12/22)... Set another tournament record by recording 38 rebounds throughout UC Davis' three games at the World Vision Challenge... Grabbed 10 rebounds, his seventh double-digit rebound game of the season vs. UC Santa Barbara (1/12)... Recorded his eighth and ninth double-digit rebound games at Cal Poly (2/9) and against Hawai'i (2/14)... Recorded double-digit rebound totals in three straight games starting at Cal Poly (2/9)... Posted his fourth double-digit scoring effort of the season, finishing with 10 points at Long Beach State (2/20)... In his final home game as an Aggie, Howley finished with nine points, eight rebounds and two assists.
2011-12: Averaged 6.7 ppg. and 5.6 rpg., starting the first 18 games before suffering season-ending knee injury early in game at Pacific (1/21)... Missed final 13 games... Led the team in rebounding (5.8 pg) before being sidelined... Averaged 27.0 minutes and shot team-high .511 from the floor... Opened season with three straight double-digit games (11 vs. So. Utah & Bryant; 15 vs. San Diego State)... Grabbed 9 rebs vs. Bryant (11/12), just missing double-double... Had 8 rebs against Stanford 911/18) and UC Riverside (1/5)... Canned 4 of 5 from beyond the arc at Cal State Northridge (1/14), finishing with 14 pts... Was 12 of 22 (.545) from three-point over five-game stretch just prior to injury... Was .438 from long distance overall... Dished season-high 4 asts vs. Bryant... Had just 17 turnovers in 18 games... Went 6 for 10 from the floor against San Diego State (11/13).. Scored in double-digits six times.
2010-11: Averaged 15.2 minutes in 27 games but did not garner a start... Averaged 3.6 ppg. and 2.2 rpg... Had 2nd-highest FG pct. on the team, making .500 of his attempts (35 of 70)... Twice scored a season-best 10 pts; first vs. UC Santa Cruz (11/17) and then vs. UC Riverside (1/27)... Didn't miss a shot vs. Banana Slugs, making all 3 shots (including a trey) and all 3 FT's... Had 9 pts at Seattle (2/15)... Grabbed season-high tying 7 rebounds while playing season-high 27 minutes against Milwaukee (11/14) and matched total with 7 boards vs. Notre Dame de Namur (12/4)... Dished 3 assists at UC Santa Barbara (2/5)... All 5 blocks came in different games.
2009-10: One of four players to appear in all 32 games, earning a start in 10 contests... Averaged 21.3 minutes of playing time per game... Recorded 3.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, while shooting 42.0 percent from the field... Was third on the team with 110 total rebounds for the season... Scored 11 points and pulled down five boards in his first start vs. Winston-Salem State on Nov. 15... Also had double figures with 10 points, six rebound and three assists at Stanford on Dec. 13... Came off the bench to score a career high 14 points in the Big West Tournament vs. Cal State Fullerton, helping the Aggies to take a 68-65 win and advance to the semifinals.
SINAGUA HS '08: Averaged 22.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists as a senior on his way to receiving most valuable player honors in the Grand Canyon Region's 4A Conference...Averaged 18.2 points and 6.7 rebounds as a junior after a sophomore season that saw him pour in 20.6 points per game...Has been named first-team All-Region three times and was an All-State honorable mention as a junior and senior...Also helped lead Sinagua to the state quarterfinals in both of those seasons...Three-sport athlete for the Mustangs as he was also a first-team All-State selection as a senior while placing third in the state in the high jump...Also a member of the golf team.
PERSONAL: Born in Detroit, Mich.... Majoring in economics... Parents are Jennifer and Jack Howley... Has two brothers, Shawn and Tyler...Plays the ukulele and guitar...Sports hero is Tiger Woods...Career highlight entering UC Davis was winning region MVP honor.
