Aggies host Bethesda in Tuesday’s exhibition

This week’s free home exhibition is the defending Big West champion’s final tune-up for the 2017-18 season

SAINT MARY'S (2015-17): Competed in 16 games throughout his sophomore season... Named to West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll with Bronze Honors... Fell one point shy of his career-high (15 pts.) versus Prairie View A&M... Scored 12 points in a win over UAB... Appeared in all 34 games as freshman... Led all WCC players in 3-point percentage at .526 (40-76) and shot .517 from the field, good for third on the team that year... Scored a season-best 15 points in wins over UC Davis and Cal Poly... Grabbed a season-high eight rebounds against UC Davis... Finished 5-of-7 from the field against Cal Poly... Sank 4 of 5 field goal attempts, all from 3-point range, in home victory over Manhattan... Scored 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting and a perfect 4-of-4 from three in 22 minutes against San Diego... Ended with nine points each in NIT games against Georgia and Valparaiso... Shot a combined 6-for-10 from the field in those two games.

HIGHLAND HS '15: Four-year varsity starter and a 2015 McDonald's All-American Game nominee ... Idaho Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior... Scored 1,431 points throughout his high school career... Averaged 20 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a senior... Led team to a 23-4 record and a berth in the Class 5A state final... Scored 31 points in that game vs. Post Falls... Named tournament MVP... Led team to four consecutive district championships... First team All-Idaho selection as a junior… Averaged 19.8 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game as a junior… Led team to a 21-5 overall record, a district title and consolation championship at the state tournament that season.

PERSONAL: Parents are David and Angela Gonzalez... Mother was a standout basketball student-athlete at Kansas and played professionally in Germany… Member of the National Honor Society and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes... Volunteered in high school with Hands 4 Uganda, Habitat for Humanity and the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Foundation.
