Kyle Vogt, most recently at Western Illinois University and who has been a part of nearly 180 wins during his coaching career, completed his first season with the UC Davis men's basketball program as an assistant coach after being hired in June, 2012. In his role, he assists in all areas of the Aggies' program including recruiting and on-court instruction.

Vogt brings a 10-year coaching career to UC Davis, most of it at Bradley University in Illinois where he worked with UC Davis head coach Jim Les for seven seasons. He spent last season at Western Illinois, helping guide the Leathernecks to an 18-15 record - their best record in more than a decade - and a berth in the College Basketball Invitational. Western Illinois advanced to the Summit League Tournament championship.

He was involved with all areas of Bradley's program, focusing his on-court instruction on perimeter play. Vogt was also instrumental in recruiting and scouting endeavors. While at Bradley under Les, he was part of a Braves team that advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2006 and an NIT berth the following season. He's also coached at University of Wisconsin-Platteville and his alma mater, Lakeland College, during his coaching career.

Vogt graduated from Lakeland in 2002, earning his bachelor's degree in marketing. An outstanding player for the Muskies, Vogt scored 1,123 career points, ranked second all-time with 183 three-pointers and was among the Div. III national leaders in three-point percentage during his final two years. He also earned a trio of all-conference honors.
