BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - UC Davis concludes a three-game road stretch Wednesday night when it faces Cal State Bakersfield. The Aggies enter the game 5-7 while the Roadrunners bring in a 3-10 mark. The game can be heard live on KFSG 1690-AM and at www.ucdavisaggies.com.

UC Davis is coming off a 76-48 loss to No. 5 UCLA on Saturday at Pauley Pavilion. Kyle Brucculeri and Shane Hanson each paced the Aggies with 11 points. Vince Oliver added nine, and Ryan Silva came off the bench to score eight. UC Davis (5-7) shot 18-for-37 from the floor for 49 percent, including 8-for-15 from beyond the arc. Hanson and Brucculeri had three treys, and Silva made two.

Cal State Bakersfield enters the game with a two-game winning streak. The Roadrunners were last in action Dec. 28 in a 73-71 overtime victory over South Dakota State at home. That followed a 71-53 win at UC Riverside on Dec. 22. CSUB is in the third year of a five-year reclassification from Division II to Division I. Its first official Div. I year is slated for 2010-11. Junior forward Terrence Johns leads the team with 13.3 ppg.

This is the 39th meeting between the two schools. Cal State Bakersfield leads the all-time series 29-9. The last meeting was during the 2003-04 season.

The game will be the first of two in three days for the Aggies who will return home to open Big West Conference play Friday against UC Riverside.
