DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis' regular season finale will now air on ESPN3 after Big West Conference, and network officials, selected that March 3 road matchup as its Wild Card game of the weekend. Tipoff from the Bren Events Center will take place at 7:30 p.m.
In each team's Big West opener, held inside the Pavilion on Jan. 4, UC Davis built a 15-1 scoring run in the second half, and prevented the Anteaters from recording a field goal for more than eight minutes, to collect a 64-53 victory.
With a win at UC Irvine, the Aggies will record their first season sweep over the Anteaters since 2015.
UC Davis will return to the road for two games against Central Coast opponents this week, starting with Thursday's 7 p.m. game at Cal Poly. The team will head to Santa Barbara for Saturday's 2 p.m. contest vs. the Gauchos before returning home for its final two games on Hamilton Court.
