DAVIS, Calif. – UC Davis will return to ESPN3, on March 6, when the network selected the Aggies’ road contest at UC Riverside as its “Wild Card” game as announced on Friday. The network selected UC Davis’ penultimate regular season road contest from three available Big West matchups taking place that night.
The Aggies were part of ESPN3’s first-ever all-Big West broadcast when the team traveled to Cal State Northridge for its Jan. 9 conference opener.
Friday’s announcement comes 10 days after ESPN2 declared its intention to return to The Pavilion, on March 1, to televise the Aggies’ final home game of the season versus UC Santa Barbara.
Starting with that home finale, the Aggies will compete in front of a national audience in its final three games. After its appearance on ESPN3, UC Davis men’s basketball fans can watch the Aggies battle UC Irvine on Fox Sports Prime Ticket when the team visits the Bren Events Center on March 8.
