DAVIS, Calif. - UC Davis men's basketball will find out who it will face in its opening game of the National Invitation Tournament during ESPNU's Sunday afternoon selection show. Starting at 5:30 p.m., the network will unveil the four quadrants, and the eight teams that comprise this year's field.
The higher-seeded team in each quadrant will host the lower-seeded team for each game, there is no re-seeding from one round to the next.
Round 1 games will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday; winners will play their Round 2 games between Thursday, March 15, and Monday, March 19. Quarterfinal matchups will take place on Tuesday, March 20, and Wednesday, March 21.
Games taking place throughout the first three rounds will take place on campus sites across the country.
The final four teams will head to Madison Square Garden, in New York City, for the NIT's semifinals (March 27) and championship game (March 29).
ESPN will televise all 31 games on its networks.
