DAVIS, Calif. - The No. 6 seed UC Davis men's basketball team will face No. 3 seed Cal Poly in the quarterfinals of the Big West Tournament on Thursday, March 14. The tentative tip time at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., the actual start of the Cal Poly-UC Davis contest will take place 30 minutes after the conclusion of the 12 p.m. game between Pacific and UC Santa Barbara.

In their first meeting of the season, Corey Hawkins sank the game-winning shot at the buzzer to defeat the Mustangs by two in front of a raucous crowd at The Pavilion. In last February's return contest in San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly led for a majority of the game to earn a split of the season series.

Even though this year's event marks the fourth Tournament appearance for the Aggies, Thursday's game is the first time that UC Davis will face Cal Poly at the Big West Tournament.

Series Record: UC Davis trails 32-14
Last UC Davis Win: 69-67 (H) (1/10/13)
Last Cal Poly Win: 68-53 (A) (2/9/13)
