DAVIS, Calif. - The UC Davis men's basketball team will make final preparations for Friday's regular-season opener at Oklahoma State when the Aggies host Menlo College on Tuesday night at The Pavilion in their final exhibition game of the preseason.
Tipoff for the game is 7 p.m. and admission is free. The Aggies opened their exhibition season with an 82-50 win over UC Santa Cruz last Thursday night, also at The Pavilion.
Sophomore Corey Hawkins led three UC Davis players in double figures, hitting 5 of 8 shots for a game-high 19 points, all of them in the first half. Guard Ryan Sypkens added 13 points while sophomore J.T. Adenrele had 11.
The Aggies shot 46.3 percent from the field for the game and hit 13 three-pointers. Their defense also held the Banana Slugs to just 29.7-percent shooting, including only 20 percent (4 of 20) from beyond three-point territory. UC Davis led 46-17 at halftime and never looked back.

The Aggies will open the season at Oklahoma State, facing a Cowboys team that posted a 15-18 record last year.
Tuesday's game, as well as all Aggie games, can be heard on KSAC (105.5 FM).
