DAVIS, Calif. - By winning both games played last week and pushing its home win streak to 14 games, the sixth-longest in the nation, UC Davis jumped five spots in College Insider's latest Mid-Major Top 25 poll, and will enter this week's game at San Francisco ranked No. 20 in the nation.

Of the four Big West schools in this week's poll, no team is ranked higher than the Aggies.

Winners of its last four straight, UC Davis will enter Friday's 8 p.m. game at San Francisco — the first of four games that comprise the Aggies' schedule at the Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic — as the Big West's top defense by allowing a league-low 62.0 points per game.

The Aggies also lead all conference teams in scoring margin (+8.3), field goal defense (.382), three-point field goal percentage (.410), three-point field goal percentage defense (.265), steals (7.7 per game) and turnover margin (+2.8).

After UC Davis faces the Dons, it will continue tournament play at Nevada on Dec. 19 (7 p.m.) before playing its final Classic games at the Orleans Arena, in Las Vegas, on Dec. 22 and 23.
