2012:Started 10 games at defensive tackle... Proved to me a menace for opposing offenses, tallying 32 tackles (14 solo, 18 assists), including three tackles for losses of 16 yards... Also had two pass breakups and two quarterback hurries... Tallied a season-best five tackles and a half TFL at Idaho State... Collected a sack for seven yards against rival Sacramento State... Had three tackles, including a half-sack... Also had two pass break ups against the Bengals... Had distinction of going head-to-head against his older brother (Nick), a starting offensive guard at San Jose State.

2011: Played all 11 games... Tallied 9 tackles (5 solos, 4 assists)... Had 0.5 TFLs in each of last two games (North Dakota, Sac State)... Opened season with 3 solo stops vs. Arizona State.

Appeared against Cal only, but did not record any stats... Granted medical hardship waiver to retain a year of eligibility.

2009: Redshirted.

DANA HILLS HS '09: Defensive MVP and first-team All-South Coast League honoree as a junior and senior... Led team with 79 tackles, cinluding 41 solo stops in 2008... Also had 4.0 sacks for 19 yards... Earned Rookie of the Year and second-team All-SCL distinction as a sophomore.

PERSONAL: Born in Thousand Oaks, Calif.... Majoring in food science... Parents are Tony & Denise Kaspar... Avid spearfishing enthusiast... If he won $1 million, says he would like to receive it in $1 bills.
