UC Davis Renews Football Rivalry With Nevada on Saturday

Aggies and Wolf Pack meet for 6 p.m. kickoff for the first time since 1989

2002: Co-winner of team's OUTSTANDING SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER... Appeared in all 12 games as placekicker, converting 45 of 48 PAT attempts and 7 of 9 field-goal tries... Booted two field goals in NCAA quarterfinal at Texas A&M-Kingsville, including 35-yarder in final seconds of regulation that forced overtime... First career FG was a 22-yarder in opener at Grand Valley State to bring Aggies within a touchdown of Lakers... Longest FG was 44-yarder as part of 30-point second quarter at Western Oregon... Conversion was longest by an Aggie since Ryan Christie booted 49-yarder in 1996 season... Hit 7-for-9 in PATs in that game, tying school record for attempts... Ranks 4th on school's single-season list for PATs made, 5th for attempts... Needs just one more PAT made to enter UC Davis' career top 10 annals.

2001: On roster but did not play.

WHITTELL HS '99: Two-time state MVP as a center midfielder in soccer... Named to all-state first team two straight years, scoring 42 goals and 37 assists in that span.... Also played basketball, once scoring four three-pointers against state's top team... Graduated in top five percent of class, earning Silver Scholar honors.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 13, 1980 in Carson City, Nevada... Majoring in civil engineering... Son of Mike & Kim Apocotos... Grandfather is Ray Pelfrey, a former NFL punter who runs an esteemed camp for kickers and punters... Appropriately, would title his autobiography, "Kickin' It With Dusty".
